The select shop ‘nositi‘ opened in December 2022. ‘Nositi’ is a Croatian word that means ‘to wear’ or ‘to dress’ in English.
It is pronounced ‘noshich’.
The store features items such as blouses from their own brand made with silk fabric, along with clothing and accessories crafted from natural materials.
The owner designed a few pieces for special occasions which are available for purchase or rental. She uses traditional Japanese textiles like silk to make modern style blouses and trousers. There are domestic and imported products which are made of silk, linen, and wool, displaying products that are appropriate for the season.

When talking with the owner, we agreed that as women get older, they start to become increasingly aware of the feeling of textiles on our skin and bodies. Natural textiles are much more comfortable, soft and don’t induce stress like uncomfortable clothes or synthetic fabrics can.
After studying fashion design in both the United Kingdom and the United States, the owner has been involved in every aspect of clothing, including customer service, design, sourcing, planning, and collaboration with craftsmen, at what is said to be Japan’s oldest select shop. Leveraging that experience, she has opened ‘nositi’ to bring her expertise to the forefront.
She is a multi-talented artist who is conscious of not wasting and loves creating things out of leftovers. Her DIY projects include the interior store sign and the lamps shades.
The store also offers made-to-order items tailored to customer sizes. The natural fabric provides excellent comfort, with a firm texture and an elegant sheen.
Although it is not officially advertised, the owner offers custom made clothing using either the fabrics sold at her shop, or the fabrics brought in by the customer. She also offers repair and alteration services.

This is an excellent place to find clothing and accessories for people with skin sensitivities or those who are a naturalist and are very conscious of how items feel on the skin and body.
The owner also has experience abroad, so service in English is also possible!
