A Karaage (fried chicken) specialty store that attracts a wide range of customers.

This is a small shop on the corner that is mainly for takeout. They use a brand of chicken called ‘Sakura Hime’ which is said to have the amount of vitamin E than usual chicken meat and no odor. The owner personally loves fried chicken and has perfected his recipe over many years. His method includes letting the moisture out of the meat before marinating in ingredients such as sake, grated ginger, grated onion, and soy sauce.

A popular menu item featuring homemade sweet and savory sauce drizzled over rice.

Here you have the ‘momo mix don’; ‘momo’ meaning chicken thigh and mixed with salt flavored fried chicken and soy sauce flavored fried chicken. The meat is tender and very flavorful without the use of artificial flavoring. The rice is a domestic brand called ‘Koshihikari’ which is probably the most popular brand in Japan.

Made with chicken breast skin, this menu goes perfectly with an alcoholic drink.

Fried chicken skin is a delicious snack. It also includes collagen which is great for skin and joints!

 

 

This shop is open almost every day of the year, although it is closed irregularly!
