The shop name ‘sifaka’ comes from the name of a rare animal found in Madagascar. It was named after being inspired by how humans and nature coexist harmoniously.
After checking the scent, you can choose the aroma oil for your head spa.
After smelling all seven essential oils, you can choose the one that most resonates with you and refer to the provided card that shows what currently needs your attention: your heart, your body, or your skin and scalp. Each scent is associated with one of these areas and may reveal current potential physical or mental struggles. Essential oils and aromatherapy can help calm nervous tension, give relief, and support relaxation.
You can enjoy coffee roasted by the owner, Mr. Wada, for longer treatments.
Customers are offered free high-quality coffee made from medium-roast beans. Mr. Wada hand-drips the coffee, showcasing his meticulous care and attention to detail in crafting a luxurious and relaxing experience.
Other than haircuts, treatments and head spa sessions are also highly recommended.
Mr. Wada has experience with customers of different ethnicities and is confident in helping you achieve your hair goals. The large rectangular mirror opposite the cushioned chair stands in the middle of the room, giving a very open and spacious atmosphere while getting your hair cut and head spa. Mr. Wada is soft-spoken but open-minded and easy to talk to.
Unisex clothing is also available for purchase.
With a personal interest in good-quality clothing, Mr. Wada picks pre-owned items in excellent condition. The collection is practical, comfortable, and versatile.
Currently, most of the customers are women in their teens, twenties, and over, but there are also businessmen and international customers.
The concept is mainly to provide a relaxing experience in this open and bright space, especially for hardworking women who work full-time and raise kids, but of course, everyone is welcome. Behind the main counter, children can rest or play while waiting for their parents to get their hair done.
“Sifaka” is a one-of-a-kind salon and shop selling plants, coffee, and clothing.
After your experience here, you’ll really feel a sense of luxury. The large and open space has a lot of natural light, plants by the window, and a minimalist interior. The atmosphere is a perfect reflection of Mr. Wada’s personality.
