“39Bar” is a standing bar with reggae music playing, creating a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere.

The space can be reserved for private use starting at 15 people and seating up to 20 guests.
Inside, the bar features several large tables with seating, perfect for dining together and sharing a few dishes with the group. One of its standout features is a big high table meant for standing drinks, which turns out to be far more fun than it sounds. People who come on their own often end up at this table, chatting with others, making new friends, and enjoying the reggae vibes together.

In addition to drinks, the bar offers a wide variety of food options
This is not the typical dark, pub-style bar where you stand at the counter just to drink. Instead, it feels like a mix between a restaurant and a bar, with an extensive drink’s menu covering all kinds of options, as well as generous dinner options, including pizzas, pasta, salads, and a great selection of homemade side dishes.

Authentic charcoal-grilled jerk chicken
The jerk chicken comes with a simple side salad and several sauces, which you can either dip the chicken into or pour over it, depending on your taste. One of them is extremely spicy — I didn’t dare try it myself, but for those who enjoy a bold flavor challenge, it is well worth a try. The chicken is heavily spiced, so it has a great flavor, and eating it while watching island landscapes on the bar’s TV made me feel like I was on a Caribbean beach.

A range of popular small dishes that pair perfectly with drinks is also available
The pickles are homemade, made with fresh vegetables and left to soak for at least a week. The flavor is genuinely pleasant and, as expected, very different from the pickles you find in shops or supermarkets and much more natural.

At 39Bar, guests can enjoy exceptional draft beer, certified as a “Kami-Awa (Perfect Foam) Master Shop.”
There is a table charge of 300 yen for customers ordering alcoholic drinks. If you are only there to eat, no table charge applies, which is a nice detail.

During summer, relaxing on the terrace is especially popular, and dogs are welcome as well
The bar opens from 5:00 p.m. On days when sports events are on, they are shown on a large TV, and when there are no games, reggae music plays throughout the night, creating a relaxed and lively atmosphere. It was so inviting that it almost made me want to get up and dance right there in the bar.

Once a month, they host a unique event featuring a magician, making 39Bar a place that regularly hosts distinctive and entertaining experiences.
During the magic events, the magician goes from table to table performing close-up tricks. Sounds like fun! Lately, they’ve also been hosting monthly tarot readings.
Make sure to try this place out when you can to enjoy the Jamaican vibes!
