A pleasant feeling as if you are surrounded by nature, among tall trees at goodcoffee Toyocho.

The interior exudes the scent of wood, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere.

As soon as you step in you can smell the calming scent of wood and coffee; my 2 favorite scents in the world. Large windows make up the walls of the shop and it is filled with natural light. This shop is the perfect place to take a break and really get your mind off!

The concept of goodcoffee Toyocho is to provide “a slightly better coffee for everyday life,” and they use medium-roasted beans that are suitable even for lattes.

As a lover of light and medium roast coffee beans, I was extremely satisfied with the latte here. The balance of acidity, bitterness and richness was perfect. When I asked what kind of milk they used for their lattes, I was surprised and happy to hear they used the same high-quality milk that I use at home.

Toast with plenty of prosciutto, avocado, and Parmesan cheese.

Not only is the atmosphere and coffee divine, but I was also impressed with their selection of foods. This is quality that can’t be found at chain shops. You don’t really see avocado toast in Japan as you would see in cosmopolitan cities overseas, but it is healthy, balanced, satisfying and tasty!

Rich and creamy cheesecake

Just when you think things can’t get any better, you try their dessert and want to cry. This cheesecake was just the right amount of sweet, very dense and went perfectly with iced coffee. It came with a side of heavenly whipped cream.

goodcoffee Toyocho also focuses on connecting the community and people. They organize workshops and events with neighboring shops to foster this connection.

The concept has always been to bring people together whether it’s for food and coffee, or to support local businesses, artisans, and creatives with their occasional fairs. It’s also a great spot to get some work done. However, there is no Wi-Fi here so make sure you have a prepaid sim or pocket Wi-Fi with you. Although, in a place like this, you can also enjoy the nature without internet!

I was very impressed with this place. Please come and visit and be healed!
