Colorful handmade bread crafted by a skilled pastry chef.

I’ve never seen bread so visually appealing. The patterns and hues on the handmade bread are top-notch.

This bakery, Boulangerie HARU is a bakery run by Chef Tetsuo Hasegawa, who honed his skills for 8 years under a world famous chef, Hironobu Tsujiguchi. Even during the interview, the stylish exterior and the scent of freshly baked bread captivated passersby, causing many of them to instinctively stop in front of the shop.

As you enter the store, the first thing that catches your eye is the colorful array of bread neatly displayed in the showcase.

The handmade bread is a visual and culinary delight.

▲The “Pandomi” is priced at 360 yen and is the most popular item that sells out quickly. It features a chewy and elastic texture with the characteristic aroma of wheat flour. On the first day, it is best enjoyed sliced with jam or butter spread on top. On the second day, toasting the bread will give it a crispy texture, making it another recommended way to savor its flavors.

I love the versatility of Pandomi bread. From breakfast toast to afternoon snacks, it perfectly complements any mealtime.

▲Mellow Curry Bun – 300 yen

A gentle-tasting curry bun filled with mild curry and cheese. Recommended for kids with its fluffy dough.

Kudos to the creators of the mellow curry bun! It’s evident that they put a lot of thought into the flavors and textures. It’s a delightful fusion of two beloved dishes- curry and bread, and the result is exceptional.

▲Melonpan – 250 yen

Characterized by its gentle sweetness, crispy cookie dough texture, and a satisfying aftertaste that isn’t too heavy.

▲Olive Cocktail – 180 yen

It is wrapped in a homemade cocktail made by combining various seasonings with olives and semi-dried tomatoes.

▲Fougasse Noir – 444 yen

A bread made from focaccia dough baked with cheese, olives, anchovy paste, and other ingredients.

This Fougasse Noir is a masterpiece of artisanal baking. The crust is perfectly crisp, and the inside is soft and airy, creating a wonderful contrast.

The most popular choice during lunchtime is the sandwich. It allows you to enjoy fresh vegetables and provides a satisfying feeling of fullness, which is a delightful aspect.

There’s something magical about the way this sandwich is made. It has that special homemade touch that warms my heart.

The homemade jams, carefully simmered and prepared, are also very popular.

I’m in awe of the quality and taste of this homemade jam. It’s evident that it was made with the freshest ingredients, and it makes me appreciate the art of jam-making even more.

In addition to bread, they also sell rusk, seasonal limited edition jellies, and baked snacks.

The texture of this rusk is just amazing – crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. It’s a pure delight to bite into.

They also have an eat-in space where customers can enjoy the bread they purchased inside the store!

What an amazing space to eat in! The decor is minimalistic and creates a fantastic ambiance that makes the dining experience truly special.

Boulangerie HARU is not only known for the deliciousness of their bread but also for the charming personalities of their staff!
