Personal gym “FIT & TOKYO Kiba Toyocho Store” opened in September 2021.
Following the opening of the “FIT & TOKYO Monzen Nakacho Station Front Store” in 2020, this is the second store to open, which is the FIT & TOKYO Kiba Toyocho Store.
This location has many female customers who want to get into shape and gain their strength back.
There are 3 changing rooms, and rental clothes, towels and one bottle of water are provided for free.
The interior is said to be the largest of all the FIT&TOKYO locations. It is a simple and open space equipped with two large weight training machines and a few fitness tools like kettle bells and dumbbells.

The trainers have received in-house training in kickboxing, so beginners can join with ease. Approximately 20% of the members come for the purpose of kickboxing.
Kickboxing is not as straining or as hard as I had expected. The amount of resistance and length of time was just right for me. Kickboxing is also excellent for stress release! I would recommend incorporating both kick boxing and weight training as a change of pace.
The trainer with specialized skills provides one-on-one lessons.
The trainer knows how much weight you can handle so it’s not too heavy for you. It’s less about lifting very heavy weight and more about doing many repetitions. The repeated motions make it easy to achieve the target.
Approximately 80% of the members are women, with many in their 20s to 40s attending for the dieting purposes.
Though weight loss is a concern among many women, there are so many other benefits to this kind of exercise such as building strength and stamina, sweating out toxins, releasing stress or anger.
Members can choose between two types of lessons: a course with 8 sessions per month and a course with 4 sessions per month. Each session can be either 50 minutes or 25 minutes long.
It was unexpected, but 25 minutes of weight training and kickboxing was very intense and just the right amount of time for a beginner like me. At the end of the session, I felt so much positive energy and really wanted to do it again.
“FIT & TOKYO Kiba Toyocho Store” is a personal gym with a reasonable price.
With very reasonable pricing for one-on-one training, it is very much worth investing your time and money into one of these courses. I was extremely satisfied with every aspect of the experience and I’m sure you will too!
It is recommended to be able to understand a little Japanese to understand the training instructions as English-speaking instructors are limited.
