An unpretentious lady of the house (called mama in Japanese) runs a bar called “jungle A” in Monzen-Nakacho.
A wide selection of alcoholic beverages:
Beer, fresh sudachi highball for early summer, fresh shikuwasa highball, red shiso drink highball, plum wine infused with rum, shochu, sake, whiskey, cocktails, wine, champagne, and more.
I thought it was a typical bar at first, but I was surprised to find they had absinthe. Mama makes sweet and delicious homemade umeshu (plum liquor) and is also a pro at crafting tasty cocktails!
