“Joint Court Kameido Kamechan” is a three-story guesthouse.

The hallway is decorated with obi tapestries featuring beautiful embroidery that symbolizes longevity and good luck.
The apartment’s decor is simple and uncluttered, yet it features elegant touches that give it a special character. Colorful, vibrant Japanese-inspired paintings and tapestries add warmth to the space, and on the upper floors, you can even find high-quality kimonos displayed on the walls. It is a striking detail that kept catching my eye!

Living Room
Nowadays, we have many translation apps and devices, that make it easy to communicate with people from any country, so you should not have any trouble talking with the hosts. The house instructions are also written in several languages.

The sofa is quite simple but can be unfolded and converted into a bed for extra guests. Instead of a traditional TV, a projector displays onto the entire wall.

A raised tatami area in the living room
The main living room is very spacious and features a raised tatami area. This is a great spot to relax, lie down, enjoy a cup of tea, or read a book. If more guests are staying, futons can also be spread out here for sleeping.

Free rentals of a baby crib, highchair, and stroller are also available, making it a comfortable choice for families with small children.
Additionally, they follow a “guests first” approach and want everyone to feel comfortable. For example, if there is a place you want to visit but the train ticket website is confusing, they are happy to help. And if you need a basic item but cannot find it in stores, they may even pick it up for you.

Table tennis and a variety of board and card games are available for guests to enjoy.
It is an easy way to unwind in the evening or take a break between outings. These shared activities also make it simple for groups to spend time together without having to plan anything. Even if the weather turns, you will still have plenty to do indoors.

A bathroom and a washing machine are also available.
Staying in a house like this can be more interesting than staying in a hotel, as you get to experience what a home in a residential neighborhood is like and get a sense of how locals live. For that reason, about 90% of their guests are international travelers from around the world, who book their stay through booking sites.

A wide selection of cutlery, tableware, and cooking utensils is provided.
This makes it easy to prepare simple meals during your stay, whether it is breakfast or a quick dinner. It is also convenient for groups, since everyone can eat together without having to buy extra supplies. Even if you are staying a few nights, you can cook and dine comfortably like you would at home.

Private Terrace
It is a very large house with many rooms and spaces, so even big groups of guests can have fun in different ways and feel comfortable without feeling crowded.
The house comes with Wi-Fi, and you will also receive a pocket Wi-Fi device with your reservation. This way, you can stay connected wherever you go—no need to buy a SIM card.

“Joint Court Kameido Kamechan” can accommodate up to 15 guests, making it a great choice for family trips and group stays.
If you are planning a trip to Tokyo—or know someone who is—do not hesitate to recommend this special house in a quiet residential neighborhood. Stays can be booked from just two nights.
