“Kameido BULL’s Bar,” an Italian continental bar

Hand-drawn menus that change with the seasons

“Kameido BULL’s Bar” is an Italian × Continental bar that carries on the DNA of “Steakhouse Bull” in Nishi-ojima. The restaurant offers Italian and Continental dishes made with carefully selected meats, seafood, and seasonal vegetables. Steaks prepared in the style of “Steakhouse Bull” are also available.

Mr. Mizuta, the owner, wants guests to enjoy warm, home-style flavors and to feel relaxed, as if they were eating at a friend’s home. He regularly creates new dishes and keeps the ones people love. If something doesn’t quite hit the mark, he replaces those with other fresh ideas.

Caesar Salad

The Caesar Salad is simple but generously portioned, making it ideal for sharing among several diners, with crisp lettuce, classic Caesar dressing, and crunchy bread croutons. It is topped with a soft-boiled egg, an original finishing touch that adds a distinctive twist unique to the restaurant.

Sirloin Steak (150 g)

When it comes to the steaks, the menu includes everything from chicken thighs and chicken fillets to beef and pork burgers, as well as sirloin steaks, all served with a variety of sauces. The sirloin steak is cooked rare and comes with an original house-made sauce, along with vegetables on the side, in this case, sweet corn.

Chicken Thigh Confit with Honey Mustard Sauce

One standout dish was this chicken dish. It arrived beautifully presented, the kind of plate that instantly makes you want to dig in as soon as it hits the table. The meat was incredibly juicy, and the honey mustard sauce poured over the top — which I was trying for the first time — left a great impression and really elevated the dish.

Seafood Marinade

The seafood marinade is a light tapa made with onions, a few cherry tomatoes, and mixed seafood like shrimp and squid. It is meant to be a small starter, but the flavor is rich and well balanced. I was pleasantly surprised and really enjoyed it.

Rich and Creamy Carbonara

The carbonara sauce is made following the original Italian recipe. In Japan, it is common to add cream, but Mr. Mizuta does not cook it that way. His version is rich in cheese, finished with a touch of white wine, and generously packed with pieces of pancetta. It was absolutely delicious!

Business hours are from 6:00 PM to 1:00 AM.

There are several hotels nearby, so many international guests come here for drinks, especially since the place stays open until 1 a.m. In Spain, for example, we usually have dinner quite late, around 10 p.m. or even later, but in Japan, many restaurants close much earlier, so I really missed places like this, where you can enjoy dinner and drinks with friends at your own pace, without constantly checking the time. Music plays on a giant screen without being too loud, creating a relaxed atmosphere that is perfect for having conversations.. I’ll definitely be back!
