At QUWANDS DANCE SPACE Sunamachi Ginza A Studio, lessons are offered in a wide range of styles, including HIPHOP, K-POP, and jazz. You can attend classes once a week, and it’s also possible to take multiple courses depending on your preferred genre and level.

The studio offers a variety of plans, allowing you to attend anywhere from once to six times a week, depending on the option you choose. You can join at any time of the year, as a new choreography is introduced each month. Classes are either 60 or 90 minutes long, depending on the level of difficulty. Please note that all instructions and guidance are provided in Japanese.

In addition to dance classes, the studio also offers gymnastics classes featuring activities like vaulting boxes, trampolines, and back flips. One of the studio’s key attractions is the flexibility it provides, where students can learn freely based on their interests and goals.

The founder of the studio grew up doing gymnastics and acrobatics but stopped once he entered the working world. Still wanting to stay active and keep moving, he began looking for something that could build on the acrobatic skills he already had, something with a bit of a twist, in a similar spirit but with a fresh feel. That’s how he discovered Hip-Hop and R&B. Through his studio, he hopes to inspire people of all ages to start dancing, no matter when they begin.

Classes are tailored to suit different skill levels and ages, ranging from 3 years old to adults.

With the rise of social media platforms like TikTok, dancing has become more popular than ever. Short routines and dance challenges have encouraged people of all ages to give it a try, many starting with a video, then choosing to join a class in person.
QUWANDS was created with that idea in mind: to be a local space where people in the community can come together and enjoy dance.

The instructors include professional back dancers and experienced gymnasts, allowing students to enjoy high-quality, authentic lessons in a fun and engaging way.

For kids, dance classes offer much more than just movement. They learn teamwork, discipline, physical coordination, and new skills. The instructors aim to help them understand that improving at dance requires effort and perseverance. Through this process, children can begin to realize that the same applies to school and other areas of life, where if you want to succeed, you should keep trying and never give up.

At QUWANDS DANCE SPACE Sunamachi Ginza A Studio, recitals are held two times a year, in summer and winter. Through working toward these goals, children develop a sense of accomplishment and grow in confidence.

It’s not just the kids who get to perform; adults attending the classes can also take part if they’d like. It’s a great chance to invite friends and family to come see what you’ve been working on and how much you’ve improved during the course. Sharing your progress on stage can be both fun and rewarding, no matter your age!
