In 2020, “Sunamachi Hormone Takumi Kitasuna Main Branch” opened its second branch as “Sunamachi Hormone Takumi Minamisuna Branch.” This establishment sources from the Shibaura market, which is the only market in Tokyo that deals with meat products.
From the market, the store selects only high-quality hormones and lean meat, ensuring that customers can always enjoy fresh and top-notch meat.
The interior of the store features a spacious layout, and with well-equipped ducts, it is a distinctive feature that allows visitors to casually drop by without worrying about their attire.
Since it is located near the station, it is very easy to access, and I think it is perfect to eat with friends and family.

As the products are delivered directly from the market, you can enjoy authentic yakiniku at an affordable price. For those who love alcohol, there’s an “All-You-Can-Drink” option (Weekdays: 880 yen/1 hour, Weekends: 2,200 yen/2 hours), and they also offer a
weekday-exclusive “Happy Hour.”
There is a wide variety of menu options, and even for those who are not fans of offal, this place also offers the typical grilled meats commonly enjoyed in Yakiniku.

The most popular “Thick-Cut Beef Tongue” offers a luxurious cut of Japanese beef tongue. “Tsurami” is a rare cut from the cheek of the cow, and lightly chewing it releases a juicy and rich flavor. The signature menu item, “Hormone,” is characterized by its large and chunky size, with the fat coming out from the inside without any strong aftertaste, melting in your mouth.
If you’re unsure where to begin, I’d suggest trying the ‘moriawase’ plate, featuring an assortment of meats curated by the restaurant. The portions are quite substantial!
On the store wall, there are tips on ways to grill the hormones to make it taste better, allowing customers to grill the ideal meat on their own.
At first, finding the perfect grilled meat might be challenging, but it gradually becomes enjoyable. After trying it a few times, I feel like I’ve finally found the ideal grilling point that suits my taste!
For a recommended noodle dish to finish your meal, try the “Morioka Reimen” (Morioka-style cold noodles).
Morioka Reimen is a specialty dish from Iwate Prefecture, known for its firm texture and smooth surface noodles.
You can adjust the spiciness level from 1 to 5 for all soup and noodle menu items.
The desserts after enjoying the meat and finishing with the noodles also look incredibly delicious, don’t they? I was able to enjoy the meal until the end, and even when my stomach was full, I found myself wanting to try another dish. Every item on the menu was of high quality, and I was very satisfied.
