At “mico hotel,” they offer the warmth of Japanese design and a sense that makes you feel as if you are living there.

The bedroom windows feature sudo—traditional woven screens made from bamboo or reeds.
The owners are a lovely Japanese couple. The wife practiced figure skating from a young age and traveled around the world to skate, where she met people from many different cultures. Her love of travel continued after marriage, and she and her husband have visited more than 30 countries. Inspired by cultural exchange from a young age, they opened this small hotel to share Japanese hospitality with guests worldwide.

A bedroom filled with soft light filtering through shoji screens (Japanese traditional sliding doors).
It is a small, charming building with two separate houses—one on the second floor and one on the third. The third-floor house is larger and can accommodate up to seven guests, featuring a bedroom with a bed and a tatami area. It is bright and airy, with large windows and a lovely balcony overlooking the street. The second-floor house is cozier and more intimate, ideal for up to three guests.

A calming, peaceful moment unfolds, offering a welcome escape from daily life.
The neighborhood feels very Japanese, quiet, and residential, with many local cafes and bars, bathhouses, supermarkets, convenience stores, and even a traditional museum. As a result, the owners believe that staying in an authentic Japanese home and experiencing daily local life can be a truly memorable experience for visitors to Japan. The location is also very convenient, with a subway station less than five minutes away and easy access to places like Skytree, Shibuya, and Tokyo Station for the bullet train.

Keypad entry provides an extra layer of security.
There are instructions and small signs in English throughout the house, so you will not have any trouble using the appliances. And if anything comes up, they are always available and happy to help.

The kitchen is fully equipped with a refrigerator, microwave, toaster oven, rice cooker, coffee maker, and tableware, so guests can shop at nearby supermarkets or local shopping streets and enjoy cooking for themselves. There is also a washing machine in the room.
The hotel includes all the appliances and amenities you might need during your stay, such as air conditioning and heating, kitchen utensils, a dining table and chairs, and Wi-Fi. There is even a large projector connected to Hulu, Netflix, Spotify, and other apps.

You can also relax and enjoy a cup of coffee at the kitchen table.
The kitchen on the second floor is smaller, but it is still fully equipped.
Check-in for both houses is from 4:00 p.m., and check-out is at 10:00 a.m.

“mico hotel” is a great fit for any kind of trip, with friends, couples, or families.
This hotel opened just a few months ago, so everything feels very clean and new. Even though I live in Japan, I would love to stay here myself, simply to step out of my daily routine and relax in a truly Japanese, nostalgic atmosphere. If you are looking for a place to stay and want a truly Japanese experience, this is a wonderful place to slow down, feel at home, and enjoy everyday life in Tokyo.
