A bakery and cafe where everything is made without water, using only Oshima milk from Izu Oshima.
The menu includes more than 10 kinds of scones, as well as toast, gelato, milk, coffee, and more.
This bakery has been gaining popularity lately, thanks to the recent boom in trips to the Tokyo Islands. Oshima, the nearest and largest island, is known for its charming scenery and dairy farms, and the bakery uses milk from a highly respected producer there.
I used to work on the ferries that connect Tokyo to the islands and had the chance to visit them all, so I know Oshima well. Discovering a bakery in the city that uses its milk felt like finding a little piece of the islands all over again.

The scones and toast are made without water, and the milk is pasteurized using a traditional low-temperature, long-time heating method.
You will find a tempting variety of treats on display: both sweet and savory sandwich bread, baumkuchen, focaccia, and their customer favorite — scones in an impressive range of flavors. You can pair one with a cup of tea, coffee, or even corn soup, and enjoy it right there, as there are a few cozy tables perfect for a quiet break.

There is a wide selection of scones, from classic, simple varieties that highlight Oshima butter to seasonal, limited-time flavors.
Drinks and bread are served on tasteful wooden trays with an antique, stylish feel. The entire space is decorated in natural wood tones, creating a warm and relaxing atmosphere.
The most popular scones are salt caramel with nuts and chocolate chips, along with seasonal flavors like fruity Valentine’s specials. I had seen online reviews from international visitors praising them, and they were absolutely right — the scones are soft, tender, and genuinely delicious, not dry or crumbly at all.

The milk comes in over 20 flavors, including maple, strawberry, and banana.
The milk-based drinks are surprisingly generous in size. Since the milk itself is so good, it is no surprise that their best-known products are milk, butter, and ice cream.
But that is not all. If you are a fan of Oshima, you will love the little details: small souvenirs, a board with information about local activities and food, and plenty of photos of the island’s scenery displayed on the walls. Even the logo features a girl wearing Oshima’s traditional yukata!

Thick-sliced Toast
The toast topped with Oshima butter is another must-try — and the butter is white rather than yellow, which immediately catches your eye. Served warm, it melts effortlessly as you spread it, soaking into the freshly toasted bread. The slice is so soft and fluffy that it almost falls apart as you pull it open. Absolutely delicious.

Please feel free to stop by and enjoy the refreshingly light Oshima milk and along with their wide selection of scones.
