I like this approach to teaching, where students are encouraged to actively engage in planning their learning. Through this continuous practice of setting goals, students are personally involved in setting objectives and working towards achieving them. Finger Number Challenge
The school also includes fun activities that help children build basic piano skills. Each finger is assigned a number, such as “1” for the thumb and “2” for the index finger, and students challenge themselves to quickly move the correct finger by looking at the numbers written on the music score, almost like a game. Students can also receive stickers or small toys when they complete their tasks.
Practicing fundamentals can often be seen as tedious, but incorporating game-like activities can help students monitor their own progress. I think that for children, it is especially important that they learn about that feeling of achievement and awareness of their own progression. This school will not only teach your child music and English but also help them build those critical skills as they develop throughout their education.

One of my favorite things about this school is its emphasis on playfulness. Students can pick their own musical piece to showcase on stage. I think it is important that students can showcase their achievements so their hard work can be recognized by others.
Ms. Morita, the school’s representative, has a British mother and a Japanese father. She majored in English at university and later studied piano at a music school. Drawing on this background, “Cats’ Piano English School” offers English conversation, reading, writing, listening, and support for school exam preparation.
Ms. Morita noted that she enjoys seeing her students develop as musicians and as people over a long period of time. This attitude, along with Ms. Morita’s focus on both short-term and long-term development goals, creates a meaningful and well-rounded educational environment. I got the impression that many of the students here have been attending for many years.
“Cats’ Piano English School” welcomes students of a wide range of ages, from young children to adults. Children’s lessons are generally offered three to four times a month on a monthly tuition basis, while adult students can take lessons starting from once a month.
The thoughtful intention behind the planning of students’ education here makes it a truly special place. The detailed lesson components and supportive environment show how passionate Ms. Morita is about passing on her expertise and engaging with her students. I would highly recommend “Cats’ Piano English School” to anyone who wants to learn a new skill, whether that is you or your child.
