The menu uses only carefully selected ingredients, like fresh seafood from a tuna wholesaler at Toyosu Market and seasonal vegetables.
The owner-chef recommends the “carpaccio” and “bouillabaisse.”
As a French person, I was excited to try the carpaccio and bouillabaisse—two dishes I am very familiar with. The owner-chef adds a Japanese twist to these French classics, making them unique.
The “Today’s Carpaccio” features three main ingredients that change daily, served with a wasabi and soy sauce-based dressing.
The wasabi and soy sauce-based dressing adds just the right amount of kick without overpowering the natural flavor of the fish, and I found this Japanese twist both surprising and addictive.
The “Donabe (claypot) Bouillabaisse” is packed with rich seafood flavor and a masterpiece the chef prepares over two days.
The “Donabe Bouillabaisse” offers a Japanese take on the classic French dish—less tomato-based, but packed with deep umami from local seafood. I found it lighter yet just as satisfying as the version from back home.
A wide selection of drinks is available to complement the food.
The sommelier carefully selects wines, sake, and fruit liqueurs from Japan and abroad, making it a delight for any alcohol enthusiast.
A good wine selection is essential when enjoying refined seafood dishes, and I was pleased to see the sommelier’s thoughtful curation here. With the fresh carpaccio and rich bouillabaisse, I went for a crisp, dry white wine—it paired beautifully, enhancing each bite without overpowering the flavors.
One of the highlights is that the restaurant can accommodate group dining and private parties for up to 20 people.
They also offer course meals that include all-you-can-drink plans matched to the dishes.
I thought this was the perfect spot for a relaxed dinner or a casual gathering after work. Whether you’re a foodie or just looking for a stylish place to unwind, it’s worth checking out.
